History

KIRUNIVERSE (KVS) was founded in Brooklyn, New York in April 2016 as a web design and digital strategy practice. What began as a small creative venture quickly expanded into content management, editing, communications strategy, and project development for organizations seeking to strengthen their presence and impact.

Over time, KVS broadened its capabilities into event production, community building, and creative collaboration. In June 2018, the RFO Collective was launched, bringing together artists, creators, and community members through events and projects spanning fashion, music, visual media, and culture.

By 2019, KVS had expanded into recruitment, retention, and organizational development, helping teams grow through stronger systems, communication, and people-centered leadership practices.

In 2020, KVS became an international organization through the launch of a virtual internship and hiring initiative that connected team members across multiple countries and three continents.

In 2024, KVS further expanded its expertise into field operations and community outreach, supporting large-scale recruitment efforts, canvassing initiatives, data management systems, and operational workflows.

Today, KVS continues to evolve as a multidisciplinary organization focused on strategy, communications, education, media, community engagement, and outreach.
